Sr. Staff Accountant - Pasadena, CA (Onsite)
A longstanding manufacturing organization in Pasadena is seeking a Sr. Staff Accountant to join their team.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for direct hire for an exceptional candidate.
Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Compensation: $37-42/hr depending on experience
Role Overview:
The Sr. Staff Accountant will support period-end close, inventory and cost accounting functions, COGS analysis, sales tax filings, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. This individual will partner closely with the Accounting Manager and a team of six accounting professionals.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* 5+ years of accounting experience
* Prior experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is required
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, IF formulas)
* Experience with ERP Systems, SAP Business One is a strong plus
* Background in cost accounting, inventory, and period-end close is highly preferred
